As someone who has no real interest in living, along with depression and PTSD, i have always had to make sure my life is a “life worth living” in that is rich with what has meaning to me.
Suicide prevention seems to gloss over the need for meaning in life. We need to get straight to the point in working with people to help them create a “life worth living” because to ignore this is to ignore the only thing that has kept me here during the hardest times.
