We Need Your Help.

Oct 8, 2020 | Outreach | 0 comments

So as many of you have already heard, we have big goals, and one of those goals is to train at least 25 people to become Instructors in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).

This training is an 8-hour certification course designed to teach individuals, professionals, businesses, and community members the skills necessary to respond with care and genuine support to an individual experiencing a mental health or substance use concern or crisis.

Mental health problems are common and, with the right help, wellness and recovery are possible.

This is where our plane to the general publicThis is where our plane to the general public, family, and friends comes to light. In order to provide this training, we first must become certified instructors ourselves. Along with the cadre of additional mental health first aid trainers, we will be able to provide this much-needed training to educators, leaders, and more throughout the country.

In order to reach this goal, it costs money. We really wish that this type of training was free, which is exactly what we aim to do once we are instructors ourselves. But in order to get to that point we need your help. This means we need you to become a monthly donor, donate one dollar, five dollars, or whatever you can in order to help us to reach this goal. In reality, this is going to cost us about $25,000 to do what it is that we need to do in order to spread positive training through the nationt. Training is not cheap, but we are confident that with it we can save many lives.

You all came through for us when we decided to Rock The World last year, so we now ask you to come through again.

Thank you so much for your time.
